California Dairy Sustainable Summit 2020, New Confirmed Dates

NEW CONFIRMED DATES
We had gathered a strong group for the CDSS 2020 in March. The event was unfortunately postponed due to COVID19. Now we have the confirmed dates in November and are ready to move on.

REDUCED PRICES
We have been able to lower the price for participation to DKK 8,250 thanks to an increased subsidy from the Trade Council as a part of their Export and Investment Package.

Take part at the Danish information stand at the California Dairy Sustainable Summit 2020 and participate in external meetings at dairy farms and meetings with relevant stakeholders.

The Trade Council’s agriculture and biogas teams in North America are organizing together with Danish Agriculture & Food Council. The Trade Council in Denmark are supporting the event financially.

BACKGROUND - SUSTAINABLE AND EFFICIENT DAIRY FARMING IN CALIFORNIA
California’s dairy sector is the largest in the USA and a national pioneer when it comes to the regulation of the sector’s impact on climate and environment. As dairy operators face a challenging timeframe to reduce methane emissions, fast approaching water regulations, and rising labour and energy costs, the sector is currently undergoing a significant transition towards farming practices that are both more efficient and sustainable. This is amplified by a significant amount of government subsidies administered by California Department of Food and Agriculture.
