In a nutshell we can offer you

• 2 days of b2c with a stand with sampling/ tastings/ sales of your products in the embassy courtyard during the “Sarugaku Matsuri” festival in the prestigious Daikanyama area with discerning visitors dropping in (+7,000 in 2022)
• 2 days of b2b events with b2b seminar and b2b meetings, visit to relevant retail operators such as Costco and Bio C’estBon.
• Reception at the ambassador’s residence for your invited guests.

The Danish Agriculture and Food Council (L&F) and the Royal Danish Embassy in Tokyo are happy to invite you to join our follow-up on our success from 2022, where 21 Danish companies connected to new business partners, re-connected with current partners, and obtained knowledge of the Japanese market. 

Some highlights of what you can expect to receive as a participant are lined up below:

A market intro seminar with interesting and insightful guest speakers before the official program starts, followed by a joint exhibitors’ dinner on day 1 to update you on the situation in the market and for you to meet and exchange info with your fellow participants. 

Sampling and/or selling of products in the Embassy courtyard from a shared stand/ booth with your own graphics on the walls during a public festival (on 4 and 5 November) with a significant number of Japanese consumers visiting.

Several exclusive networking events at the Residence of the Danish Ambassador (including YOUR products on the buffet). 

During the festival you can book a 30 minutes’ session at the stage in the exhibition/ embassy courtyard for various promotion events: you can organize tasting events, workshops, master classes etc. with focus on your product and brand.

A seminar and subsequent B2B meetings pre-arranged by the Embassy with importers and/or distributors. Retail visits, site visits and much more (for further details see link below).

We focus on business and making it as easy for you to join as possible. 

We will therefore consolidate and custom clear a shipment of products and PR materials you will use in the courtyard or at the Ambassador’s Residence (dry, chilled, or frozen) of your products, so they are available at the Embassy once you arrive.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
Danish companies exporting:

• Meat (pork, poultry, beef)
• Vegetables
• Eggs
• Fish and seafood
• Bakery products, butter cookies, pastry
• Sweets & Snacks
• Dairy products
• Beverages (including non-alcohol)
• Condiments & oil
• Food ingredients

PRICE
The price for participation is DKK 12,900 excl. flights, hotels, taxis, meals etc. and VAT per company for up to 1 participant after deduction of 50% subsidy from Trade Council and 12 companies participating.
Price for an extra participant is DKK 1,200.

NOTE:  The Danish company is free to have its local representatives represent your company in full during the event. On the registration form you can, if relevant, therefore add the contact information of the local participating person/company. However, only Danish companies in Denmark with a Danish CVR number can register for participation, and the invoicing will always be issued in DKK to the Danish company address.

We reserve the right to offer you participation at a different price should any of the above criteria’s change. Should this result in a higher price than quoted, you have the right to cancel your participation. Other expenses not mentioned above are at own expense including visa, flights, dine & drink and hotel.

NOTE: The price is based on 12 participating companies, who are all eligible for subsidy, and 50 percent subsidy (already granted) from the Trade Council of Denmark. 
If your company is not eligible for subsidy due to de-minimis issues (having received more than 1,5 mio. DKK in de-minimis subsidy within the past 3 years, including the present) you are binding yourself to pay the full price, meaning without the subsidy. The same conditions apply if you do not wish to receive subsidy.
