Fact Finding Trip to Denmark: Waste Management & Biogas

with US and Canadian stakeholders

Take part in the 2024 Fact Finding Trip to Denmark from October 27 to November 1, 2024

We’re excited to present a new opportunity to showcase the Danish biogas model to key stakeholders from the United States and Canada!

This year’s delegation will bring representatives from project developers, EPCs, and utilities from across North America to Denmark for a week of site visits and conversations with regulators and stakeholders. For Danish companies from across the biogas value chain, the sales and networking opportunities are unparalleled.

The North American biogas market is estimated to be just 15% saturated, and enjoys policy support at all three levels of government. Furthermore, Danish know-how commands deep respect amongst industry participants in both Canada and the United States.

Whether you are you starting your export journey and are interested in getting a piece of the pie, or looking to expand an established network in North America, our 2024 Waste Management & Biogas delegation is the right place to start.

Who should participate?

Danish companies within waste management (municipal, commercial, agricultural) and biogas production, including:

  • Biogas project developers
  • Biogas upgrading technology providers
  • Gas cleaning providers
  • Tank stirrers
  • Manufacturers of sensors
  • Software providers
  • Feedstock and inventory management systems
  • Feedstock pre-treatment systems
  • Engineering and design specialists
  • Financiers and investors
  • Oher companies interested in networking with North American industry stakeholders.

Your benefits from participating

By participating in the delegation, Danish companies will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect and network directly with key US and Canadian stakeholders from the waste management and biogas value chains, and laying the groundwork for profitable, mutually beneficial future partnerships.
  • Demonstrate how your solutions enable Denmark to be a leader in biogas and biomethane production – and how it will be key to the future success of the North American industry
  • Improve your understanding of the trends shaping the North American biogas market.

Program

We are assembling an exciting program built around input from the participating Danish companies. We will develop the programme in close coordination with the participating companies and look forward to tailoring it to your particular solutions and objectives.

We anticipate this program will include:

  • Meetings and visits to participating companies’ offices and facilities
  • On-site tours at Danish companies and biogas plants.
  • Opportunities to present your innovative, efficient, value-enhancing technologies and solutions to potential customers and partners from North America.
  • Interactive discussions on how Danish technologies and best practices can be implemented in the context of the North American biogas sector.

Price

The total price for participation in this Fact Finding trip to Denmark is DKK 13,259 for one representative per company. Price for an extra participant is DKK 1,500 (max one). (Prices may change depending on the number of participating Danish companies).

NOTE: The Danish company is free to have its local representatives represent your company in full during the event. On the registration form you can, if relevant, therefore add the contact information of the local participating person/company. However, only Danish companies in Denmark with a Danish CVR number can register for participation, and the invoicing will always be issued in DKK to the Danish company address.

We reserve the right to offer you participation at a different price, if any of the above criteria change. Should this result in a higher price than quoted, you have the right to cancel your participation. Other expenses not mentioned above are at your own expense including visa, flights, dining & drink and hotel.

NOTE: The price is based on 7 participating companies, who are all eligible for subsidy, and 50 percent subsidy (already granted) from the Trade Council of Denmark.

If your company is not eligible for subsidy due to de-minimis issues (having received more than 300,000 Euro in de-minimis subsidy within the past 3 years, including the present), you are obliged to pay the full price without the subsidy. The same conditions apply, if you do not wish to receive subsidy.
