Meet the Buyer – London - UK

In collaboration with The Royal Danish Embassy in London, The Danish Agriculture & Food Council invites Danish organic food companies to a focused ‘Meet the Buyer’ day. Through targeted B2B-meetings you’ll meet with buyers from selected retail chains and importers/distributors.

There is an increased demand for more natural, clean, and organic products in the UK. Denmark has positioned itself at the forefront on the organic agenda with innovative food companies disrupting the classical categories.

The match-making event will take place on October 16th and will create the framework for organic Danish producers to meet with British buyers from retail and importers/distributors. Through 1:1 sessions, you’ll get the opportunity to present your products to selected buyers at their location. In advance of the event, you’ll receive information about the British participants to prepare products and pitch.

The event takes place at the same day as a roundtable discussion with Danish and British experts during the evening of October 16th titled: The Future of Ultra Processed Foods: Threats, Challenges & Opportunities. You are invited to join this event. After the roundtable there will be an informal networking event where you can meet buyers and stakeholders from the whole food value chain.

Participation fee is 5,000 DKK excl. VAT per company for one representative. There’s a limit of five companies and it’s first comes, first served. It includes transport during the day and participation at the round table debate. Please note participation is subject to EU legislation on de minimis with fundings from Fonden for Økologisk Landbrug and NextGenerationEU.
