The Danish Agriculture & Food Council in partnership with Access2innovation and the Danish Embassy in Kenya are pleased to invite your company to participate in this 2025 agribusiness delegation to Kenya.
Why Kenya?
Kenya is one of Africa’s most fertile and open countries with ambitious growth targets and an agribusiness sector full of opportunities. This delegation trip will enable Danish companies to meet key partners and potential customers, showcasing their products and services, and gain first-hand knowledge about the Kenyan agribusiness sector and market.
Kenya presents key opportunities along the entire agribusiness value-chain:
- Farm inputs such as fertilizer, pesticides and animal feed as well as farming equipment and technology incl. (cold-) storage and other farm produce preservation solutions.
- Agri-tech and innovative solutions that supports precision farming, digital platforms for value chain efficiency and integration, and other smart farming solutions.
- Value addition and food processing of fruit and vegetable products, dairy products as well various types of meat products for both domestic and international markets.
What is unique about this mission?
The delegates will have an opportunity to meet and explore synergies with government representatives and industry organizations as well as one-on-one meeting with relevant commercial partners in Kenya. Moreover, the delegates will have an opportunity to meet and explore synergies with implementing partners of the Danish development programmes in Kenya.

Programme
The below programme is preliminary and will be finalised one month before the delegation.
Monday 10 November (Arrival)
- Arrival, Jomo Kenyatta airport in Nairobi.
- Hotel check-in and introduction to participants and the delegation program in the evening.
Tuesday 11 November
- Introduction.
- Presentations by key actors from government and industry associations on Kenyan agribusiness.
- Exploring synergies with Danida development programme implementing partners in agriculture and private sector development.
- Meetings with key industry players incl. B2B collaborations.
- Reception
Wednesday 12 November
- Meetings with relevant agribusiness associations and government representatives (morning).
- Targeted site visits tailored to the participants. (afternoon)
Thursday 13 November
- Targeted site visits tailored to the participants (until late afternoon).
- Wrap-up with lessons learned and follow-up plans.
- Possible return to Denmark with late evening flight)
Friday 14 November
- Travel back to Denmark.
Price
The total price for participation in the business delegation to Kenya is DKK 8,700 excl. flight, hotel and VAT per company for 1 representative and 3 guests at the reception.
Extra representative DKK 2,300 per person.
NOTE: The Danish company is free to have its local representatives represent your company in full during the event. On the registration form you can, if relevant, therefore add the contact information of the local participating person/company. However, only Danish companies in Denmark with a Danish CVR number can register for participation, and the invoicing will always be issued in DKK to the Danish company address.
We reserve the right to offer you participation at a different price, if any of the above criteria change. Should this result in a higher price than quoted, you have the right to cancel your participation. Other expenses not mentioned above are at your own expense including visa, flights, dining & drink and hotel.
NOTE: The price is based on 7 participating companies, who are all eligible for subsidy, and 75 percent subsidy (already granted) from the Trade Council of Denmark.
If your company is not eligible for subsidy due to de-minimis issues (having received more than 300,000 Euro in de-minimis subsidy within the past 3 years, including the present), you are obliged to pay the full price without the subsidy. The same conditions apply, if you do not wish to receive subsidy.
Hotel and travel information
Flights and hotel are not included in the price. Upon registration, you will receive a travel suggestion.
Registration
Please register at the top of this site no later than 15 August 2025 for the early bird advantage and no later than 10 September 2025 for the general programme.
