Export delegation to Bretagne, France

France represents 26% of the European Cereal supply in Europe, the world first exporter of potatotes, 3rd European pork livestock and 2nd milk producer.

Despite this market size, Danish supply exports are relatively low to France in this sector, and this is the case even for highly innovative solutions that known in France and for which both technical institute and Equipment purchasing cooperatives express a latent demand.

The Trade Council in France and the Danish Agriculture & Food Council have decided to partner to provide you with market insights, sales leads, as well as both internal and external networking opportunities.

Brittany is probably the most culturally intensive region in France, be it in pork and milk production, food transformation or vegetables crops. 

We propose participants to this Joint Export Promotion to come to Rennes, the region’s capital, during the SPACE 2025, the largest agricultural exhibition in the region to meet all the relevant stakeholders to ensure a successful entry in this market.

SPACE 2023 had 1,200 exhibitors from 120 countries, 100,000 visitors, out of which 12,000 international visitors.

The trip will include:

• A seminar to with intervention from experts of the region, and equipment purchasing cooperative to details the expectations and need of the French market
• Site visits to local distributors and farms,
• Delegation visit to the SPACE and planned booth visits of the largest exhibitors such as Sodiaal, Cooperl or Total

This delegation is organized by TC Agriculture-team in Paris in a cooperation with the Danish Agriculture and Food Council. This event will receive a subsidy of 50% from the Trade Council (already deducted in the below price of participation).

Who should participate?

Danish companies with solutions for pig farming and dairy farming in the entire value chain from genetics, feed, feed additives, stable equipment, testing equipment, slurry management.

Companies wishing to create their first success story / POC with a prescriber, a client, a distributor in France, a market where experience is much more important than technical sheets

With 1200 exhibitors, the SPACE is covering all agricultural value chains, from the pork to the dairy industry through biogas and agricultural machinery.

Price for participation 

The price is DKK 16,000 for participation excludes flights, hotels, access to Rennes, and VAT per company for one participant after deduction of 50% subsidy from The Trade Council and with 7 companies participating. The Trade Council will ensure end-to-end planning and execution of the trip except booking of flights and hotels. Price for an extra participant is DKK 1,800.

NOTE: The Danish company is free to have its local representatives represent your company in full during the event. On the registration form you can, if relevant, therefore add the contact information of the local participating person/company. However, only Danish companies in Denmark with a Danish CVR number can register for participation, and the invoicing will always be issued in DKK to the Danish company address.

We reserve the right to offer you participation at a different price should any of the above criteria’s change. Should this result in a higher price than quoted, you have the right to cancel your participation. Other expenses not mentioned above are at own expense including flights, hotel and meals. 

NOTE: The price is based on 7 participating companies, who are all eligible for subsidy, and 50 percent subsidy (already granted) from the Trade Council of Denmark.
If your company is not eligible for subsidy due to de-minimis issues (having received more than 300,000 Euros in de-minimis subsidy within the past 3 years, including the present) you are binding yourself to pay the full price, meaning without the subsidy. The same conditions apply if you do not wish to receive subsidy.
