Sustainable pig production export delegation to Denmark

Join this year’s export delegation to promote Danish pig production technologies including meetings as well as company and farm visits. The delegation is organized to showcase Danish strongholds, shine light on Danish products and solutions within pig production, and to further strengthen the knowledge of Danish companies and their solutions. Join a group of US and Canadian farmers and stakeholders, and contribute in shaping the future of pig production in North America.

• Showcase operational technology/services in project setting

Join the delegates on the tour if desired (1 representative per company)

Program

The American delegates will arrive in Copenhagen during the weekend leading up to tour across Denmark. The program will start in Copenhagen on Monday, October 20th and end on Friday, October 24th. The program will include visits to every participating company as well as visits to the Danish Food and Agriculture Council in Copenhagen, Danish Pig Research Center and some of the most innovative farms in Denmark. The final program is to be confirmed and will depend on the participating companies.

Price

The total price for participation in the US-business delegation to Denmark is DKK 17,700 (price may change depending on the number of participants). Price for an extra participant is DKK 1,800 (max 2 participants per company in total).

NOTE: The Danish company is free to have its local representatives represent your company in full during the event. On the registration form you can, if relevant, therefore add the contact information of the local participating person/company. However, only Danish companies in Denmark with a Danish CVR number can register for participation, and the invoicing will always be issued in DKK to the Danish company address.

We reserve the right to offer you participation at a different price, if any of the above criteria change. Should this result in a higher price than quoted, you have the right to cancel your participation. Other expenses not mentioned above are at your own expense including visa, flights, dining & drink and hotel.

NOTE: The price is based on 7 participating companies, who are all eligible for subsidy, and 50 percent subsidy (already granted) from the Trade Council of Denmark.
If your company is not eligible for subsidy due to de-minimis issues (having received more than 300,000 Euro in de-minimis subsidy within the past 3 years, including the present), you are obliged to pay the full price without the subsidy. The same conditions apply, if you do not wish to receive subsidy.

Hotel and travel information 

Expenses related to own travel (flights, taxi, train etc.), VAT, hotel, and insurance are not included in the price. Upon registration, you will receive more information.

Please register at the top of this site no later than 15 August 2025.

Registration is made in accordance with the Danish Agriculture and Food Council’s terms of participation.
