Business delegation to UK

The Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Mr. Jacob Jensen will lead a business delegation to the United Kingdom the 27 and 28 January 2026.

Danish Agriculture & Food Council (DAFC), in a close cooperation with the Royal Danish Embassy in London and Danish Industry are pleased to invite you to an exclusive panel debate followed by a networking reception 27 January 2026 hosted by the Danish Ambassador to the United Kingdom, H.E. Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard.

An increasing awareness of the role of food in both climate and public health in the United Kingdom makes the green transition in Denmark attractive to the British audience. Therefore, the panel debate will focus on the Danish food system, drawing on The Green Transition Agreement, which promotes more sustainable food and reflects Denmark’s tradition of public-private collaborations to advance healthier, cleaner foods with fewer ingredients and less processing. 

The panel debate on the 27 January will commence with the Minister’s keynote, followed by a discussion involving the participating companies, alongside Danish and British organisations, and enterprises. 

Following the panel debate a networking reception will be held at the Danish Ambassador’s residence. The reception will feature an extended reception menu with the possibility of incorporating products from the participating companies. This will depend on delivery times, as the chef will need the products a week ahead of the reception. 

The participation of the Minister provides access to a higher level of authority and an opportunity to engage in dialogue with key British decision-makers, industry and trade organizations, food producers, buyers, and representatives from the retail and food service.

The panel debate is expected to run from 16.00-18.00 followed by a networking reception from 18.00-20.00 on the 27th of January 2026 at the Ambassador’s Residence, 2 Hans Street, London SW1X 0NJ.

Price

You are invited to participate with two representatives as part of the standard participation and 3 guests (5 people total).

The price is DKK 9,500 after an expected funding from the Trade Council is granted.

The package will furthermore include a relevant British company visit on 28 January led by the Minister. The details of the visit are still to be confirmed. 

For companies wishing to attend with a bigger delegation, additional participation packages will be available, allowing for an extension of the invitation to 5 guests.

Packages for inviting 10 or 15 guests will also possible, depending on the number of participating companies.

This is an invitation with a binding registration. Please register at the top of the site no later than 12 January 2026.

Registration is made in accordance with DAFC’s terms of participation.
